Impression Pendants use found textures in the physical world as jewelry molds. They are made by taking clay impressions from textures found around the world from historically and culturally significant landmarks and objects.
Each piece results in a one-of-a-kind connection with its subject. The pendants are 100% analog and hand-crafted, dismissing traditional jewelry-making techniques.
Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was an American artist and film-maker who was a leading figure in the Pop Art movement. His New York studio called “The Factory” was a gathering place of artists, celebrities, drag queens, playwrights and Bohemians. In 1967 he relocated his studio to the 6th floor of 33 Union Square West (The Decker Building) in New York City. This impression was taken from the front facade of The Decker Building.
