Impression Pendants use found textures in the physical world as jewelry molds. They are made by taking clay impressions from textures found around the world from historically and culturally significant landmarks and objects.
Each piece results in a one-of-a-kind connection with its subject. The pendants are 100% analog and hand-crafted, dismissing traditional jewelry-making techniques.
This impression was taken from stone at Changdeokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea. It is one of five grand palaces built by the kings of the Joseon Dynasty (1392-1897).
