Impression Pendants use found textures in the physical world as jewelry molds. They are made by taking clay impressions from textures found around the world from historically and culturally significant landmarks and objects.
Each piece results in a one-of-a-kind connection with its subject. The pendants are 100% analog and hand-crafted, dismissing traditional jewelry-making techniques.
Lakota legend tells us the Dreamcatcher is hung above your bed or in your home to sift through your dreams and visions. The “good” in your dreams are captured in the web of life and carried with you. The “evil” escapes through the center hole of the web and are no longer a part of you. It is an iconic symbol of Native American spirituality.
This impression was taken from a dreamcatcher made by the Native American Reservation of the Lakota Sioux in South Dakota, gifted to us from our dear friend who was born and raised there.
